A fascinating soil-inflected wine: savoury, earthy with a slight reductive note to start. Turns creamier with air, at the time when fruitiness — pomegranate, raspberry — begins to ascend as well, interlaced with petrichor. Superb sense of place. Textural, constantly evolving and totally free. Beautiful. Zero sulphite added.

From a 0.6-ha in Bulligny. Wet earth precedes a densely fruited core — cherry, cola, rhubarb, blackberry. Quite intense and focused, turning more open-knit with air. A solid core promises a wonderful evolution in the cellar too. Zero sulphite added.
