A fabulous Chenin from soils rich in schist and quartz, which imparts an almost pebbley minerality to the final wine. Mature and round, but also piercing and super polished. Stone fruits, lemon rind, honeysuckle, white flowers, pear and beeswax abound. These vines were abandoned until 2017, when Olivier adopted a regenerative farming approach to revitalising the plot. Sleek, weightless and airy, an archetype of purity, typicity and delicacy. The wine builds and builds, turning fleshier and stonier altogether, finishing with a stunningly delicate salinity.
